Can you start menopause when you are on birth control pills?

I was just wondering because I am having horrible hot flashes at night and was wondering if the pill would mask menopause? Any help would be appreciated.

    The pill does regulate periods but it will not affect menopause has begun.
    Menopause has begun.

    Menopause would necessarily stop however if you happened to determine if you happened to determine if you happened to be side fx of oestrogen you were definitely going through it could mask.
