My mother had a hysterectomy in her late 30s. She’s now in her early 50s and has mood swings more than usual and sudden tears (amongst other things). After her hysterectomy she had the mood swings and her doctor said that she was going through a “sudden menopause”, but now being in her early 50s and with similar symptoms to before could it mean she’s going through it psychologically?
